Hello all! I am new to the forum & am hoping someone out there has the cure to an issue that has been plaguing our 2007 A6 since we purchased it new.

The MMI has skipped periodically since we got the car. We have brought it to the dealership numerous times and, unfortunately, they have been unable to replicate the problem. A very pricey board in the MMI had to be replaced two years ago due to a drain on the battery (the battery needed to be jumped every morning unless the MMI was powered off before turning the car off), but that was obviously unrelated as the issue continues. Everything skips - satellite radio, CD player, Bluetooth mobile phone calls - sometimes, it's worse than others. It's so irritating, we find we leave the MMI powered off a majority of the time.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
