Coming from a old A6 where i stored my music on old 3G MMI with a SD card. I structured my music with alphabetic capital letter of the artist, eg A/Artist-that-starts-with-an-A - Title.mp3 & D/Artist-that-starts-with-an-D - Title.mp3.

So basically the root SD had all the alphabetic letter as a folder, In my playlist I then had A/Artist-that-starts-with-an-A - Title.mp3 or D/Artist-that-starts-with-an-D - Title.mp3. This doesn't seem to work though with new MIB MMI, whenever I want to play music through a playlist, all the files gets the tag "Can't play".

Does anyone know how I should have the file path inside the playlist file if I have the music structured as above? I rather not change the file structure, rather edit the file path in the playlist file.

The owners manual describes a lot about this. You may want to use some music player software on your PC to create the playlist file. The MMI should support standard playlist files. The newer MMIs use song metadata to build what you see on the screen.
