I have purchased a Valet Key, and a Fob for my 2016 Q5.
I matched the FCCID to my existing key for the Fob.

I got the keys cut locally, and brought them into my local Audi stealership for programming.

They said they tried to program them but they are not coded to my VIN.

Any ideas on how to get my keys programmed.

I do have a Ross Tech cable, but in looking through their site, it looks like it wont help.

Dealership is the only option.

The dealership and I quote from the bill "Attempted to program keys. Supplied keys are not assigned to this vehicle VIN"

Now I wonder what to do now.

Any help is appreciated.
