Removing rear seat in B7 S4 - help.... trying to take the wheel well covers out to mold in new.....
Apparently the covers that cover the wheel wells in the trunk require the rear seats be removed in order to remove them. I'm going to mold new pieces and want to use them as as the mold.

if its anything like the b6...
seats actually just pull up. gotta yank UP where the clips are on the front side of the rear seat. one clip is directly behind the driver seat and one behind the passenger. this cushion should come right out.
next u fold down the reclining part of the chair, theres a screw between the two holding the seats in. take this out and a metal clip(not really a clip, but dont know how else to describe it) will come off. then take the smaller split seat, driver side, and lift up just a little bit. to get it out of the holder, then slide it across over the other side.
repeat for the other side...should be much easier to do once one side is out. dont know if its much help but if you get stuck...take some pictures and i'll circle what you need to look for.
that is...if the b7 is the same as b6. if they changed the seating...then i can't really help you sorry.
