Default SD card limit

Hi there, I have a 2017 A4, and I have a lot of music I'd like to play in my car. I copied my iTunes library on 2 SD cards. I understand that each card has a limit of 128GB or 10,000 files, whichever comes first. That 10,000 file limit is rather silly isn't it? anyway around that? To have my library split on two cards is somewhat inconvenient.

Some limit is needed because songs are the primary index used in the software Audi licenses. The limit allows them to size the amount of memory needed. For music lovers, the limit is a tad low, but for the majority of people it's fine. I don't mind splitting across 2 cards. It allows room for more songs over time and preserving alphabetical order by artist. e.g. sd1 A-M, sd2 N-Z.
