I have an Audi SQ5. I have a sim card with the audio files in the directory format from iTunes. I have no problem searching for albums or artists. What doesn't seem to work is searching for a playlist. I thought that if I select playlists and then enter some text in the search field I would get a list of playlists that match. Instead I get a list of albums that match. For example, I have a playlist titled Day of the Dead. It is made up of a 5 disc set titled Day of the Dead. If I type Day in the search field I get the five albums listed, Day of the Dead [Disc 1]...., I thought that I would get the playlist name. So at the moment it seems that I must scroll through all the playlists to find what I want. The playlists are in m3u format and are in the root directory of the sim card.

Playlist names are not part of the metadata contained in each song file. That's why search can't find them.
