Again, we don't have Audi Connect (no SIMM card, etc).

How come I see a wifi being advertised from our Q3, although we do not have Audi Connect.

Is there a default password that I can use to connect? What would I access if I COULD connect?

The Wifi network is used in conjunction with the MMI Connect app. You can stream music from this app over Wifi or any network media player that supports DLNA. The MMI Connect app if connected via Wifi to the car also automatically remembers where you parked your car if you enable this feature. So, the Wifi network if you don't have Audi Connect is used for car internal purposes. With Audi Connect you also get Internet access through the Wifi network, but w/o it you don't and you are limited to streaming music from network devices and the various features of the MMI Connect app.
