Unless you want to spen mega dollars doing a engine rebuild.

the S4 engine has 11:1 comp ratio.

the RS6 is around 9.8:1.

Dropping the comp ratio would be highly suggested for a forced induction engine, you would not be able to run much boost at all with 11:1, before you get major pinging.

There are varios ways of dropping com ratio.

1. thicker head gasket, no really recomended.
2. decomp head, may adversly affect intake swirl charge cooling.
3. shorter conrods, expensive need to be custom made and will affect intake charge and combustion.
4. new pistons custom made, this would be by far the best solution and most like fit the the rs6 pistons, however going to something like a JE forged piston would be highly suggested.

B7 spec i believe is using FSI injection, they are totally different heads, require new fuel system, new ECU, more trouble than its worth.

I have some B6 S4 engines coming in soon, and will be sorting one of those out to get over 300KW leaving it normally aspirated.
