GPS in Australia
Anyone know if the genuine GPS is any good? And if it is good, is it easy to get the mapping disks for Australa? I'm thinking of getting an A6 with double DIN console, and then getting an RNS from overseas.

I've got the RNS-E (DVD-based) in my B6 A4 TQ
I'm very happy with it. It's a great unit with some nice extras such as the 2x SD card slots (for MP3s) and integrates well with the rest of the car.
Map disk are easily sourced from your local Audi dealership.

Cool. I've also been warm on a car PC, then I can mix and match my own software and load up all my MP3s at the same time, and run it through the existing stereo. What setup are you running? (PC, screen?, software, mapping, antenna, etc.?) Any info greatly appreciated.

Thanks Alister. AudiB4A6US over in audio forum mentioned you. How much did the whole thing cost? Can you post a pic of your install?

In terms of cost, expect to pay around the $2.5k mark.
