might be stupid at the first look ... but... listen up: i've got a bent conrod and all the rest of the engine is perfect -under 40000km- all looks like new inside except this conrod. I am at a dead end looking for ONE conrod for V6 3.0 L ASN engine from 2003 A4 quattro. the audi dealership wants to replace half of the engine because this is written in their manuals to cover their work(estimate of 15000 NZD). of course I said thanx but no thanx and I took the car to my local garage and they are very keen to sort it out if I can give them one conrod. any Ideea ? any other engines have the same conrods (1.8l?) thanx, remus

you can't just buy one from the dealer, I'm sure they have a part number

i have the part nr but is for a set of 6 and I need only one. all 6 are @ $2200 aud and if you go to change all of them you have to change lots of other parts and end up to pay @ 13000-14000. if I find one conrod I'll spend under 3000. thanx
