2 month update, 1Z Glanz on a 525 (Phil take a look)
it's been about 2 months since i did a detail on my car. i used a prep of 1Z MP/W, then a topcoat of reformulated 1Z Glanz. after 2 months of weekly washing, & being parked outside, i think the wax is holding very well. there is a very good shine after wash, and the water lightly beads, and runs off when rinsed.
i'm using Meg's NXT car wash (cheap & effective), and forgive me Phil, i'm using the wheelschmitt to wash (does a great job of taking off bugs, cleaning off junk like tree sap). i'm seeing nothing detrimental to the paint.
i used Klasse AIO on the wheels: it is holding up. water beads up when sprayed--even after being treated with Meg's wheel cleaner (again, cheap stuff but works).
i used 1Z Lackfinish as a QD after the wash. car again looked fantastic. no doubt i can make it the rest of the summer without waxing. i don't know how it would look on a dark car, but it's doing well on a gray/blue, no doubt on silver.
cheers.
