chrome polish, silver polish, mag and metal polish.. sheesh
Went to buy some polish to use on my OEM exhaust tips and for use on my front windshield and wasn't sure which is the right thing to buy.
Mother's has a Mag and Wheel polish and a Chrome Polish
Eagle One has a Mag and Wheel polish, a nd then they have Eagle One Nevr Dull
Then there is Silver Polish which you can buy in the supermarket.
What's the right thing to get for use on OEM exhaust tips and that will hopefully be the right product for a windshield.

i actually used that stuff to polish the center caps on my AEZ icon 5s...
They used to be a dull metal with raised "AEZ" painted in black and I used that mothers stuff to polish it to a chrome like appearance...looks way better now.
Makes you wonder about cleaning your wheels with the stuff though, I probably wouldnt recommend using it on any delicate surface such as a painted wheel, might remove the paint!

Exhaust pipes are touch as they are subject to very high heat, but try this. It works well on
everything else, and can also be combined with 3M IHG to remove surface scratches from the paint. As for the exhaust tips, I've yet to find anything that really works well.

P21S Multi Surface Finish Restorer

Kind of mundane, but try Turtle Wax Chrome Cleaner for the exhaust.
I have used it on my windshield and it certainly didn't hurt anything, but I prefer using No Touch Glass Stripper instead of polishes.

If you want to get obssessive about the tips, there's an AW FAQ....
...that describes a rather lengthy process for polishing them. I've never tried it...I'm not about to put that kind of time into exhaust tips...but people who have done it say it makes em look like chrome. That's shiny. For me, 10 minutes or so 2 -3 times a year rubbing 'em with Mother's Mag & Wheel Polish is all the shine I need. It really does a nice job on the stock tips.

Exhaust Tip Polishing FAQ

that's meant to make the stock tips like chrome..
I took the easy route, blew $45 on OEM chrome tips, and screwed those on. They look better, and I saved a lot of time and banged up knuckles
Now I just need something to keep those looking nice.
