Cleaning my soft top, recommendations needed please
Please forgive me if this is in the wrong place
I have a 2004 (54)B6 Audi a4 cabriolet 2.5tdi soft top. The roof is black with moody spots near the front
I have been doing some research in how to and what to use to recondition it and get rid of the mold. However I've read some dos and donts with some products saying not to be used on vinyl roofs (yes I'm pretty dumb I don't know if my roof is vinyl, it's my first cabriolet)
Any help would be very much appreciated

Ric, I hope the top isn't vinyl. Do you want me to recommend products sold in USA or elsewhere?

United kingdom please lol.
I've got a bit confused about what it is. Heard people refer to it as a vinyl roof (As you can get cars with hard tops too) then I read on a bottle of a product that promises to refresh it back to as new to not use on vinyl tops 🙄
Sorry if I come across a bit thick lol

An Audi will typically have fitted a cloth top. The difference between cloth and vinyl is significant. The vinyl top would have a plastic-like touch and appearance to it:

I use Spray9 (amazon purchase - US, but think it's available in UK too) on all my boat cloth, fiberglass and plastics - note however, it has a bleaching part - so I'd recommend (and this would go with anything you try) that you test it in an inconspicuous spot first!
