Coating on wind shield, right or wrong?
Hi all
I have my new A4 put on water repellent coating and by norm the wind shield is also included (on top of my solar film I guess =_=).
Now I start to read owner's manual and Bang! It said do not put water repellent coating on your wind shield cause it would reduce visibility and more importantly cause your wiper to judder. The Audi service said the same thing when I called. Indeed, I do realize recently when driving in the rain, the wipers feel like got a lot more tensions to wipe. Seems more friction and definitely not smooth.
I'm not sure it is the coating or not, but should I remove the coating on wind shield if possible?
