Default Removed scratch with 3000 grit, then ultimate compound, do i need to use polish now?

I removed a long scratch using 3000 grit paper followed by Meguire's ultimate compound. Do I have to use polish or scratch remover compound afterwards? Then wax?

Thanks!

it all depends on a color of the paint. Have a look if the paint is hazy and not clear you can do a lite polish with Megs 205 with a white pad.
