Default Time and weather allowed me to give the cars a wash yesterday.

It's been at least four weeks since the last wash for both cars and in that time there's been rain, snow, salty roads and temperatures ranging between 5 and 50 deg. F. Both cars had been protected with Blackfire Carnuba Wax over a layer of Blackfire Sealant about 2.5 months ago. Also, both cars are outside 24/7/365.

I'm happy to report that this combination has been holding up very well, so far.

Yesterday was wash (Adam's) > dry (leaf blower & waffle weave) > spritz with detail spray (Adam's).

I almost forgot, there's a chance of a coastal storm for Tuesday with more rain and snow. :-(

And yes, I did hose the street off in front of my house before parking my car out there while I washed my wife's car. ****, I know.

Default Hosing the street off is fine unless it freezes over at night.

I've slid down my driveway many times!

How do you find the leaf blower approach? I have a backpack one and was thinking about it...

Default I have a craftsman hand held (gas) and .....

it works well for me. It allows me to blow off most of the surface water and blow out the water from the nooks and crannies, such as the mirrors, grill area, cowl and wheels. I always follow up with a large waffle weave drying towel and detail spray with microfiber towels.

Default I have a Craftsman vac that also converts to a blower and use the blower to dry every time

Ditto on the reasons Wiley mentioned.
