Default uurrghh, nasty scratch in our new highlander.

PC'ed 1Z Extra on Sonus SFX yellow and white pads didn't even touch it.

nothing is going to touch that, there's no paint left.

that sucks. a basic touch-up kit job won't look great, I'd call around for options.

Default You can fix it...just requires time, practice and skill

You can look up some of the scratch repairs on some detailing sites, it is possible to fill the scratch in with touch up, then wet-sand it down, then polish out the wet sanding marks, and it will look really really close. The only thing you can't get really well is the 'lay' of the metallic flake.

To be honest it is a repair better tried by true professionals. However, not completely out of reach to someone who is willing to say 'Well, it is about 300 to respray the panel no matter how bad I fuq' it up'.

Just my .02 C.

Hit it with a black marker then go hug your kids or help out an old person.
