Hello Audi fans, looking for thoughts on a brake problem with my 2014 S4. Have a spongy pedal/a lot of pedal travel after Indy garage replaced front pads with Akebono ceramic pads and Zimmerman rotors. The car only has 22K miles and is well maintained-thoughts, as this doesn’t make sense given the repair. Thanks!

Just about only reason for that is air in the lines. Have the brakes properly bled. There is a proper sequence as to which wheel gets done first. Common issue

I just traded-in my 2014 A4 after tracking it at club events for 5 years. I have changed pads frequently switching from street to track pads for every event and rotors a few times. I have often had new pads and rotors cause a soft pedal for a short amount of time until they bed in. I just installed a big brake kit with Brembo calipers on the front of the 2016 S4 that I just bought and it had a soft pedal for a couple of days. I even bled the brakes the second day, but there was no air. By the second day they were fine. If the problem continues you might ask about air in the ABS module. I have never had that happen so I don't have experience dealing with it.
