Default 2015 a3 braking issue

Hi all, I've had my a3 for a few months now, and I've noticed a weird thing happens while I'm braking, and I can't seem to find any thing similar online about it, so I thought I'd try posting here. It's a 2015 a3 premium, automatic, ~15000 miles. It's kind of a weird issue, so hopefully I can explain it in a way you all will understand.

The issue is, whenever I'm braking, as the transmission is downshifting itself, it feels like the brakes grab more with each successive downshift, even though I'm not pushing any harder on the pedal, and it causes kind of a jerky stop. Sometimes it's kind of a smoother, lighter "jerk" as it downshifts, and other times it can be pretty forceful, depending on how fast I'm going. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this, and what the possible cause(s) could be?

It's my only complaint, everything else about the car is fantastic, I'd just like to correct this issue if I can. If you have any additional questions, just let me know and I'll try to answer them as soon as possible. Any info or suggestions would be helpful, thanks.
