BRAKE - new pads?

I have. 2014 A6 Quattro with 100k miles on it. The BRAKE light came on today, what is that likely to cost me to fix? Indianapolis area, any suggestions?

If it is the BRAKE light it is low on fluid. If it is the BRAKE PAD light then it is the pads. Of course it may be low on brake fluid because the pads are wearing
