Are C6 rotor retaining screw loctited in, or just rusted?

I'm about to change my front pads & rotors on my '06 A6 3.2. I got a set of Centric drilled & slotted rotors to replace my 190k miles originals.
I've read a few threads stating that the rotor retaining screws are a bear to get out, if at all. However, someone did, also, post that once loosened, the rotors will wiggle out without even removing the caliper mounts, just tbe calipers.
So, I think I'll try the heat, then chill method & some pb blaster with my impact driver to get those screws out.
Does anyone know if they're loctited in? If so, that would have me use "more heat" to soften it up.

I just did a full OE brake service on my 08 A6 3.2 a few weekends ago - I ended up stripping one of the retaining screws that was installed 130K miles ago when I went at it with just a ratchet bit. For the other 3 I used PB Blaster, let each sit for about 15 minutes, and then used an impact driver and a 32oz hammer to get them out, they came out easily after soaking.

I was not able to remove the front rotors without removing the caliper carriers, the carrier bolts required a lot of force to loosen but I was able to get them off with more PBB and a lot of elbow grease. Rear rotors slide right out, no carrier removal necessary. If all of your rotors have been on there for 190K you're going to have a hell of a time getting them off the hub, I used PBB in the lug holes so it could creep between the rotor hat and hub, about 30 mins of soaking and 15 minutes of smashing them with the hammer, they finally came off.

Good luck!
