Hard Braking Issue 2014 S5
New owner of a 2014 S5 Cab. Other than the timing chain clapping on startup it seems to be a great car. When I purchased the car 2 months back it need front brakes. Dealer wanted $1200 for front pads/rotors so I replaced them myself. OEM pads and aftermarket slotted/dimpled rotors, fluid flushed and replaced. Under normal braking, even hard braking all is well. However, in an emergency situation where you slam on the brakes within a couple of seconds of applying full pressure it feels like the brakes release/slip and the car lunges forward before braking again. Only happens on the initial push and the car stops, ABS seems to be working fine. Almost feels like a transmission issue rather than brakes but not sure what the engine/trans could do to overcome the brakes in this full on situation? Before I take it in and hear that i just need to replace the brakes again but with Audi OEM parts I wanted to see if anyone had thoughts on what this could be. Again, normal driving with even very quick stops, no issues. Just when you smash the pedal in an emargency does the issue arise. Thanks

Thanks for all of the responses. It appears that at least my 2014 S5's brake system does not like the slotted/dimpled rotors. I kept the factory rotors that i had replaced so I put them back on the car and problem solved.
