Help! My LR brake is smoking!
I have a 2003 A6 Quattro 3.0L.
Replaced the pads yesterday as the old ones were getting very thin. Drove a total of about 3 hours today. On the 45 minute drive home, no symptoms or issues with the brakes. When I pulled into the driveway and got out, the rear left brake was smoking, was very hot (you could feel the heat a foot away) and had a very strong burned stench. The other side had none of the above. The rotor seems to show more streaking than on the other side.
Any ideas what's going on?
