hi again need to get car towed to garage but the electronic parking wont release , is they an over ride switch

Is the battery dead? Have you tried hooking up a battery charger or jumping it to another car for the power required to release the brake?

There is a procedure in the owner's manual, do you have the book for your car? There's a special tool in the car's toolkit. It'd help if you said what car (or filled in your profile so it shows under your screenname. Location, too.).

You might have more answers if you post in the forum for the exact car model you have.

hi tom , I have a audi a6 2.0 diesel 2005 , its when I put key into ignition normally you click sound which unlocks immobiliser to start car but unfortunately I am not getting anything so the car has shut down wanted to get recovery truck to take to garage but wheels are lock cant tow the car. Hope this is helpful
