how long will they go? have any lasted past 60k miles??

(obviously its based on urban/hwy)

EBC are good pads. The redstuff are known to produce less dust and good stopping power. Take a look at Hawk ceramics also.

I have had great luck with Akebono pads. I had them on my Mercedes SLK and they were very easy on the rotors and had virtually no dust. I have installed them on the front of my 2008 TT and so far are giving similar results. I have always installed them with new rotors. Just had an idiot turn directly in front of me and they stopped me very quickly without the ABS kicking in.
