I purchased a 2008 Audi A6 S-Line Quattro today and I was driving home and I realized while I was coasting I could feel grinding in the actual gas pedal of the car. There was mild noise that I can't describe to the car while driving but it wasn't a grind or humming noise. Also there was no grinding or loud noises that you can hear outside the car. Like I said only when I would coast the car or accelerate I could only feel not hear the grinding or like a vibration on my foot. I have a 30 day warranty since I just got it but I want to know what it is ahead of time before going into a shop. The car brakes quickly I don't need much effort to stop so i don't think it's the brakes. I filled up my tires and that didn't do anything to fix the issue. I'm scared to drive the thing at this point. Is this a wheel bearing issue or an alignment/balancing issue do you guys think ?

Sounds like a wheel bearing most likely. If it is louder turning left, it is a right side bearing. If louder turning right, a left side one. If no change straight or turning, less likely a bearing but still possible if really in bad shape already.

Can be other things though--anything from a rock stuck in brake caliper to brake pad issues to something with driveshaft or CV axle to various other things. If the turning related sound difference I mention checks out, you have a better pointer. Otherwise, you need someone with experience to look at it first person.
