Default ROTORS

What is the best way to get the correct rotors for my Audi Q5?
Do I go buy the VIN number? Or, do I buy them for the make and model?
Sorry for the dumb question.

If I remember correctly, different version of the same car, same model can have different brakes or rotor sizes. I'd call the dealer up, ask for the parts departments - then give them your VIN and ask what size rotors your car has, and to be nice, ask the price. That way, you'll get the correct answer.

I called the parts counter at an Audi dealer with my VIN and they gave me the brake specifications. They were happy to help and quote a price for the parts.
