Default Re: brake bias versus dive under braking

The amount of load transfer to the front (and brake dive) is only a function of braking g's, wheelbase, and the height of the center of gravity ... nothing else. Brake bias has no influence at all.

If you're feeling a difference, it's due to something like different pad coefficient of friction or different piston area in the calipers. With the same car, the same braking g's results in the same dive ... always.

Default Absolutely agree. ...

Street or track, I always run a rear pad with a higher coefficient of friction than the front pad.
