Turning UFO Rotors
Hi, I've got a '91 200 20v Turbo Quattro Avant that I picked up not too long ago. Car sat for a while and developed lots of rust on the rotors from rain / condensation. I'm hoping they're not warped (I know it's a common issue with these) but I do believe it's the uneven surface of the rotor causing a terrible shimmy at speed.
I've scoured the internets for info regarding a shop who has a set-up to turn these funky rotors to know avail. There is one guy (UFO Brakes) who has a rig set up but I'm having no luck getting in contact with him.
Does anyone know of a shop that can do this or know of this cat with the rig to shave these rotors?
Many thanks,
