**Feeler** It would be a shame to part my beauty. What would it be worth as a package?
I'm testing the waters with regards to selling the S4 now, feel ready to move onto another project. Though i really love this car and will miss it dearly if I sell, having spent 6.5years in it I feel ready to try something new. Not importable, so hopefully that does something for resale.
I have bolded mods that I think really set this car apart, and increase its resale value: 2001.5 S4, Santorin, Black Leather interior, 105k km's (85% highway) Engine & Drivetrain - RSK04's - RS4 Airbox and MAF - RS4 Y-pipe - APR Stg3 fueling, with RS4 injectors - Walbro 255lph fuel pump - ER Intercoolers BRAND NEW In Box - Autospeed 3" Downpipes with 200cell metallic race cats - Autospeed 2.25" Trudual with baller 89mm tips - Clutchmasters Stage4 6-puck ceramic clutch with custom friction material from wicked motorsports BRAND new, 0kms - Clutchmasters lightened balanced aluminum flywheel BRAND NEW, 0kms - ASP Tranny Stabilizer Bar - RS4 Motor Mounts - JHM solidshift short shifter with Stainless steel shifter linkage BRAND NEW - APR Bipipe - APR Snub mount - 710N BPV's - 16" SPAL EFK with Controller Handling: - STaSIS Ohlins Motorsport 750F/900R - STaSIS Alcon Motorsport 6-pot Calipers w/ 14" rotors - STaSIS Tracksport Rear Upgrade - H-Sport Rear Swaybar - Sportec Mono10 19x8.5 DMC finish w/ Falken 451 235/35/19 [summer] - Ace Lola 18x8 w/ Falken rt615 [track] - OEM Avus 17" w/ Goodyear Eagle M+S [winter] Exterior: - RS4 bumper - Euro Xenon Housings and SPP Stg3 50w Lighting [6000k] - RS4 grill - Aero Wiper Conversion - 35% Llumar tint - Stebel compact airhorn - Odyssey lightweight PC 925 Battery - Audisport Rear Plate Frame Interior - Omori 60mm Electronic Boost Gauge w/ Custom Mount - Custome Chrome cluster rings - Zender Pedal Set - Gloss Black Interior Trim - All-weather audi floor mats rubber Most recent pics: |

It's a great package but you're selling to a very niche market. Unless you find an educated,
well financed buyer, everyone is going to try and 'steal' the car. I had to sell a friend's heavily modded car once and it was very difficult to explain the price I wanted vs a stock version. The most common line I heard was 'yeah, yours has some go fast bits on it, but I'm not paying double what a stock version is worth. It is still an X year old, used car'
Just to get a feel for what your car may be worth, I'd say calculate the cost of a comparable stock 2001.5 S4 + 50% cost of all of your mods + 50% labour. This should be the absolute lowest price to accept if you're comfortable with it. As a wild guess, I'd say a stock S4 is $20 - 25k and 50% of all the parts and labour is probably $15 - 20k. So $35 - 45k may be a reasonable place to start. I hope you find the right buyer who gives you what you want for the car. I think you did a great job with your car. |
$30K.
