Default Audi A5 Winter issues?

Hey, I'm fairly new to this forum and I'm looking to purchase an A5 premium package s-line. I'm wondering if you Audi fanatics can help me out with some questions i have about the car. I live in Toronto, Canada and the snow here gets really bad.

1) The s-line comes with 19`inch rims and performance tires, do i have to change the tires in the winter even though its quattro?

2)Is the premium plus worth the money? is S-Line even worth the money?

3) also, what are your views on the Lexus IS C, because that is around the same price.

Thanks alot.

1)Yes you'll need snow tires. You can't drive with summers, even if it's quattro.

2) IMO, the sline is wrth the money, not the Premium Plus though.

3) This is an Audi forum. So no IS C : )

You see in my profile of what I now drive in Winnipeg. I drop from 19" summers to use 245-45-17s snows on 17" rims in winter here where we have more snow and ice than in Toronto - I lived many years in both cities so I think I know you will need snows there too. The S-Line suspension and seats are very much worth it to me. I can't comment on the Lexus.
