Default Mike's right... I now generally only use Shell 91 V-Power unless its really hot out, or I'm going to

the track.

The ethanol really gives you ****ty gas mileage.

Default Ethanol = reduced gas mileage

Because ethanol has lower energy per unit volume. Ontario has legislated ethanol in gasoline so you should see almost all Regular gas in Toronto will have 10% ethanol later this month. So far other than Sunoco none of the others use ethanol in their 91 Octane gas.

BTW - ethanol is mostly coming from corn. Should make the farmers happy.

I agree. My car hated V-Power 91, but I did get like 60 more km from the tank.

Default Husky ='s Ethanol. Chevron ='s the good stuff.

The reason higher octane isn't offered in Calgary for the good gas has to with the higher altitude. On the other hand, there is a reason ethanol gas with a higher octane blend is offered.

Default Even to the point of using atomic energy to crack the oil out of the tar sands.

This will greatly reduce pollution and save our natural gas for export.
