Default How does 'Allocation' work when ordering a car. How long do you have to wait after allocation?

I'm a little bit in the dark here.

I ordered the car in early Dec and they told me that i'm next in line for allocation.

Any explanations would help.

Thanks

It means you're next in line to grab your ankles...then you get your car.

Default the factory will allocate each dealer a number of cars to order out of a given production month...

the dealer has no control over what they get, it is up to Audi Canada.
I suppose it is a trickle down from Audi AG...they will give CDA "X" number of say A5's then they will get distributed through the network of dealers.
from there i can only assume it is based on the dealers order bank of sold units and the age of said sold units.

Default You should go see Anik Boisclair at Lauzon. She's the one that closed the sale for my dad's A6

and she seems very knowledgeable and cute on top of that.

Default Lauzon was terrible. They made a price on the phone only to change it when I came to sign

I would avoid Lauzon at all costs. They are very crooked when it comes to dealing.

Default and it's considered one of the best in Montreal area. lol Immagine the rest

I know Niquet and Park Avenue are totally crap.

Never had anything but awesome service at Lauzon so far. They even come pick up the cars for services at home and leave us an Audi as a loaner.

That's who I deal with as well and I agreed with the cuteness.
