I just don't like touch screens. I have them on computers and my phone has a membrane button style. It is just too easy to press the wrong button. My wife 'stole' my older phone with real buttons. Guess I'll end up with a Blackberry.

At first I was excited by the touch screen idea, so it took me some time to figure out what left me so irritated about using it:

1. No tactile response
2. Perma-greasy screen
3. Constantly having to pull your hand away to see what you just did on screen

Ok, couldn't resist.

I typically hate having my hands even a little greasy, but I also don't want to have to scrub-in for surgery every time I want to use my phone while having lunch, for example.

I haven't noticed hubby's phone being nasty or greasy. Maybe because it goes in a pocket and gets "cleaned" just like any phone with buttons.
