I have a set of the GSD3 and they're fine for daily driving. Seems to hold up to the punishment I've put them through (ie.: pothoes).

A coworker of mine recently had the same 2 choices, ended up with the asymmetrics due to the fact that all G3D3's are now made in China where as the newer asymmetrics are made in Germany.

That's some noisy tires. How about Pirelli P Zero Rosso?

Pirelli P Zero Rosso are excellent. Grip is not quite up to Goodyear F1 or GSD3 but ride comfort and low noise more than make up for the marginal loss in absolute grip. The new P Zero which replaces the old Giallo spec P Zero is supposed to be the top tire available currently. Pirelli just released it. The newest tire is usually the best tire.
