Speaking of videos
Ken Block gets bigger air in his rally STI compared to the flying Renaults :)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OVQM6M3DAj8</a

Nice!

Not bad but I still think one of the best car commercials I have ever seen is this one...
Very clever and done with no tricks at all.
It took months to do and IIRC over 600 tries to get it done in the one take! A classic!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OFTduBCb7Eo</a

|
Agreed, one of the best
The sounds of the various Ferrari F1 cars in the Shell commercial is another one up there too.
|
are you sure about the "trick" part? Look at the wheels in the begining of the film.
There is no way there would be enough inertia for the wheels to get UP a slope like that.
|
just looked at it again, its definately not real.
Look at the 29second mark. The second wheel hits the third while going up a slope, bounces back down and then goes up again. This is definitely not real.
|
This was discussed to death on other forums
Yes it's real, and they just added weights in the to get it to roll like that. They took something like ump-teen shots to get it right.
|
oh, well I guess they used "tricks" then :-)
