Default Pics of new A4 from Grand Cayman

Long time not been around. I hear you Canucks had a great winter this year ;-) Been living in Grand cayman for 16 or so months now.

Here in Cayman they just got a pair of what I think will only be the 2009 model in Canada. Notice they are RHD and have a 1.8T FSI engine. No Quattro (no need for it here) TDI is also available. I especially like the front ; very aggressive look.

43,000CI = +-53,000$CA which is not all that bad for a fully equipped A4 with xenons & all. (43k is all included. )

Default "No Quattro (no need for it here)"

Is that because people just photograph cars there, rather than actually drive them?

Cayman = No hills, no snow and Max 40mph on 95% of the island.

And yes we do drive them Its a great place to be. Ever been here?

Default Is it anything like Bermuda?

Sand in everything, can't get a decent cup of coffee, the island is overrun by tourists off every cruise ship, everything (including food) is imported and overpriced, and you can't drive your car the way it was meant to be driven.

Oh, and once every few years a hurricane comes and wipes the place clean.

I have a friend who thought it would be a great idea to work there, but realized that the reality ain't as dreamy as it looks in pictures.

Your mileage may vary though.

Default HA! Photoshop! Steering wheel on the wrong side!!!! (j/k)

If the roads are anything like Barbados in CI, you could probably make a killing in selling lift kits. Not sure about the "no need for quattro" comment, though. Sure, you don't get snow, but you do get rain - and the roads get mighty slick after the rain falls on sun baked asphalt. In B'dos the trucks make nice ruts that the water ponds in on some roads.
Nice looking cars, though.
Cheers!
