Default Q : what is the going price for an 05.5 S4 with 115,000km.

I may have found a deal on a used S4. Car is auto, has Navi, revo tune, APR full back exhaust, clear bra'd, heated front/rear seats. Just seems to have a lot of km for the year. What would be a good price to offer?

Default Go on autotrader.ca and see what comparables are going for. This is good indication of going

private rates. If you can swing it, ask a dealer to ask their wholesaler what they would offer for the car. Split the difference and that is a good place to start.

It does seem like a high mileage car for only 2.5 years old. Probably a lot of highway.

Default Ask CAA...

...they keep tabs on how much others ACTUALLY payed for a similar car.
Their data is more acurate than asking prices in various adverts.

Default I'll guess $25K to start, especially if it's not from a dealer (no 2 yr warranty)

maybe a bit more if it has snows on rims and the interior is in good shape, rims not curbed, etc etc and the VIN history checks out with Audi.

Default black book says averages are 26950 wholesale 30525 retail. that one should be lower due to mileage

this is through alberta motor assoc. website so i assume alberta prices, depends where you are

Default should be lower due to mileage? perhaps but shouldn't be a deal breaker..

an 05.5 is 3+ yrs old =33k km/yr not an unrealistic # just not the steal of a deal we all want.
