Totally OT. Nintendo DS help needed.
I have just found out that there is a cartridge available for the DS that allows you to download games from the net. Its called R4. Illegal to sell in retail stores?? I cant find this thing anywhere. If you can help me please let me know. Or email me if you want to keep it off the forum.
Thanks

here's a store
This place sells a lot of other great stuff too (at great prices). Planning on picking up some Blu-ray movies <ul><li><a href="http://www.sigelectronics.com/Video-Games-Hardware/Accessories/DSTT-Flash-Card-for-NDS-NDSL-Same-as-R4-Flash-Card">SiG Electronics</a></li></ul>

Here's some very helpful info...
Don't get the R4 flash cart, in short it was good in it's day, 1-2 years ago, but there are way better products out there now with better customer service/firmware upgrades. R4 was the first to develop this type of technology for the DS but the R4 team is now dead due to the amount of competition/copies.
Read the flash cart reviews on GBATemp on Flash carts and make a decision from there. IMHO CycloDS is one of the best, and can be bought at www.systemgears.com. There are many online stores which sells these type of flash carts and local too e.i. GTA www.kickgaming.com being one.
For the record not all people uses the flash cart to play down loaded games, some use it for back up purposes so they don't have to carry around 100 game carts. In addition you can run 3rd party software, moonshell, on the DS to play videos and mp3s.
Or so a friend tells me all this...Hope this helps.<ul><li><a href="http://gbatemp.net/index.php?dynamic=8#slot1">GBA Temp Flash Cart Reviews</a></li></ul>
