It seems the PO must have run the ride height down too low at some point and ruined the rear shocks. Either that or he hit a massive pothole or ripple in the road at too high a speed and pounded the seals on the rear shocks. Too bad he didn't claim on Stasis' excellent warranty as only the original purchaser from Stasis gets the lifetime warranty.
I give top marks to Stasis for customer service. I was advised by Jim by email and by phone to ensure correct diagnosis and prompt shipment of new parts including new spring perches and nylon locking grubs.
I highly recommend the Stasis Tracksport set up for street use. The ride is comparable to the factory S4 (now the rear shocks are up to the job) but the handling is Worlds away from the numb feel and heavy understeer of the factory set up.
It's been so snowy and icy that I have not yet discovered if the problem that lead me to the diagnosis, rear sway on hard right high speed turns, has been cured but I an sure it has.
