Default Gription, quick question regarding a post below...
you said it was a shame the OZ SL's being sold werent 18x9...are you running 9 inch wide rubber? For some reason i was under the impression that it would rub...

Default Yep - I'm running 9" width on my track rims.
And no rubbing with 245's, which are about as wide as you can go before you do get rubbing.

Default Possibly so - we'll find out next spring.
The track tires I have now are 35 series, so that might give me a touch more clearance than a 40 series. That said, the Toyo's that are going on next are 40's.

I guess I'll have to work on being extra-extra smooth at Grattan...

Default 35s might be ok
I was rubbing a lot on 245/40s though. that track has so many areas where you can really compress the suspension.

Default I would think turn 3 and the "landing zone" before turn 5 would be the worst.
IIRC, the T1-S has a lot of meat on the outside edge. I haven't really compared them to the RA-1's, but I guess we'll find out.

Default the worst for me was the dip before you climb the hill to take turn 11
biggie compression at the bottom there.
