Hi All,

When I was reading through the forums desperately I saw couple of postings refering to the Chicago forum and would like to try my luck.

I replaced my thermostat this weekend on my 97 A4 2.8L but I believe I slipped a couple of teeth on the passanger side cam when putting back the timing belt. Now it makes a slight knocking noise and CEL came on.

Car is open, TB is accessible but I don't have the confidence or the tools to try and re align everything.

I was wondering if anybody with the right tools and experience would be willing to help me in my garage. I can put everything back together myself, all I need is the cam/timing alignment, don't think would take more than half an hour of your time and I would be happy to compansate for your time and tutoring.

I do not have the tool but I may be able to give you some thoughts; at least over the phone.
