No, you would put the same dash back in which should not require any VAG or reprogramming. I put the link below and you can decide what you want. I decided not to do mine yet because it is still quite legible. I would probably prefer to order the part from them and replace it myself. The part itself was pretty expensive but much less than Audi wants to replace the whole thing. It only costs slightly more to have them replace it in Germany but you cannot drive your car with out the dash.

Yes, we can sell you the replacement part. However, we cannot give you any guarantee for this part, because you will install it yourself and we can only give you guarantee for the DIS if the work is done by our technicians. The price is 150 Euro including VAT plus shipping cost. If you transfer the money in advance we can send the spare part to you in a registered letter. This is the cheapest way to send it: 15,- Euro. The shipping time is about 1 week.

We can also send it via UPS (98,- Euro, 3 days) or DHL (90 Euro, 3 days), however the shipping time might also take a little bit longer because of the customs.

We have the parts on stock, so that you can order it anytime.

If we repair your instrument cluster (you send us your instrument), the repair will cost 175,- Euro including VAT. We will exchange your DIS and will give you 2 years guarantee for the DIS. The shipping fee for transport with DHL or UPS would be about 15-20 Euro higher than the price for the shipping only of the DIS.

We would repair your instrument the same day when we receive your parcel and will send it back to you the same day.
