3 tickets for the same thing when in Italy, can anything be done?
Hello,
I was in Italy last summer for vacation. When I was in Florence, I rented a car so we could drive out to the Tuscany region. I remember I picked the car up at around noon, then drove to our hotel then off to Tuscany. Now I just received 3 tickets for driving in a public transportation zone. I don't remember doing this, but it was 7 months ago. If I did it, fine, I will pay the amount. My question is that they are all for the same thing, and the times shown on the tickets is 12:00, 12:14, 12:15. Sometimes I really hate technology, if I was stopped by an officer, I would have gotten out of this public zone. Here, I just didn't know I was committing a violation. Can anything be done to reduce this since it's the same violation? My notice says I have 10 days to pay, and each ticket is around 95 euros. That's almost 450 bucks out the door! Thanks, |
If your not in Italy anymore, what can they do? Sent the Carabaniari after you?
Although I would watch out, some of them do drive Lamborghini's.

Carabinieri, not Carabaniari

If the ticket came from the Rent company, then they can charge your credit card, I think.
