Default From Canada: Looking for a B5 RS4. Where to start?

Hi there,

I'm from Toronto Canada and I'm looking to import a B5 RS4 over here. Does anyone know of a good place to start looking?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have never looked into buying cars from Europe.

Thanks!

Default mobile.de

Forget Norway and Denmark, our tax levels make used cars too expensive. I think the same thing goes for the Netherlands. Not sure about France and Belgium. Germany and Sweden have very low tax on cars, but with Germany being 10 times bigger, I'd say finding a good RS4 on the German mobile.de is easier than on the Swedish bytbil.com. Swedish cars will probably have their dash computer display messages in English, I don't know how much effort it is to reprogram a German computer.

Default Would he have to pay any taxes because the car is going to be exported to Canada? You can...

Easily change the dash/cluster to English or any languages with a Vag Com.

Default Well, someone here in Montreal did import one. Don't know if he was successful on having it insured

Contact Tony at LA Leasing. He's the one that import it.

The car is taxed heavily when it is first registered (one-time tax), and thus it costs more used
