Default thanks... is there the same warranty concerns here as in North America?
(ie. if you chip, you risk losing your warranty coverage)

Default Correct. Audi UK don't have an agreement with any tuner.
Not many tuners offer warranties. Some dealers do tuning with the same tuners and then sell on an additional warranty. You therefore have the choice of whether you want one or not.
