I'm proud to say I have finally become a first time Audi owner. Last night I traded our BMW 228i cabriolet for an Audi A5 Quattro cabriolet. It's a very low mileage 2018, and so far we're enjoying it very much. Glad to be here and looking forward to participating in this community.

2015 A5 B8.5 to B9 headlight upgrade coding

Does anyone know and have the correct coding for the aftermarket b8.5 to B9 headlight upgrade? I have 2 error codes, one is left and right side marker lights and the other is Headlight range control defective/system fault.

2012 Audi A6 3.0T Audio Rebuild Project

I recently picked up a 2012 Audi A6 3.0T Premium Plus with the factory 10 speaker audio system. The system was underwhelming overall, with a thin, harsh response and weak low end. The front doors had already been fitted with Hertz HV165L mid bass drivers, still powered by the factory amplifier rated at roughly 18W per channel. The rear doors and tweeters remained fully stock, along with the factory subwoofer. The dash center channel had also been replaced with a low cost Scosche 4 inch coaxial, while the factory tweeters remained in place. The result was a mismatched system with no consistent tuning or balance across components.

Rather than a reset, the build plan is a structured upgrade. The system will be rebuilt with new wiring throughout, aftermarket amplification, a DSP with DRC control, and a fiber optic gateway to interface with the factory MOST system while providing a proper digital signal path and full tuning control. The first phase focused on acoustics. All door panels were removed and both inner and outer skins were treated with sound deadening.

The trunk was then fully stripped. Sound deadening was applied to the spare tire well, rear quarter panels, and trunk lid, addressing resonance points and reducing rattles throughout the rear structure.

Can't believe I can't use my siriusXM with paying four Audi connect

How braindead can Audi be holding car owners for ransom in order to connect to siriusXM.

My Audi Connect trial stopped this weekend sometime and I saw absolutely no reason with my T-MOBILE phone working on the best network in the US why I needed to sign up for $150 or $250 annual account for Audi Connect.

I called Audi customer service today and was told my siriusXM account will no longer work without paying for one of their BS connect services.

This is the first vehicle in the last 10 years that I've owned or rented that would not connect for free to siriusXM. What the hell are these morons thinking???

The thought of ever buying another Audi is ludicrous at best. As if $46,000 wasn't enough for this vehicle...SHAME ON YOU AUDI!!!!

Hi,
nNew to the forum, I am a retired mechanic trying to sort out a Can Bus fault ( communication error) on a 2013 Audi A4 1.8 (manual transmission ).I believe the 120 ohm terminating resistors are located in the BCM and ECM. Can anyone tell me where the BCM is located on this model?

I�m looking for some official technical clarification regarding the approved tire speed ratings for my Audi A6 (45 TFSI, running on 245/45R19 tires).

According to my car's official registration documents, the specified tire is 102Y (up to 300 km/h / 186 mph). However, the car currently has a set of high-quality tires with a 102W speed rating (up to 270 km/h / 168 mph) installed.

Introducing myself and my Audi S8 Plus, white/black optic

Hi all,

Although i already made an account years ago, let me introduce myself now. 34 years old, from the netherlands. Love cars all my life now.

I've been an Audi fan for years now and owned quite some Audi's already.
- A4 3.0 V6
- A7 2.8 FSI
- A6 3.0 TFSI
- S7 4.0TFSI
- and now the S8 Plus

Im not sure if all of you know what the "plus" even is but heres some info about it.
- 605 HP and 750 Nm from factory
- Ceramic brakes
- Sports differential
- Black optic and darker taillights from factory
- Carbon inside and on diffuser plus the front bumper
- Improved steering

Mine is a white S8 Plus. It currently has a true dual setup with Scorpion front pipes and Fox rear mufflers, Rs6 wheels, and a lowered suspension. Overall really enjoying the car so far. What I like most about the S8 Plus is how understated it is. Most people just see a luxury sedan, while it’s actually ridiculously fast and incredibly stable at higher speeds. It feels like one of the last old-school Audi V8 sedans before everything became overly digital.
