They are way too far inboard, especially coming from my Alfa Giulia QV, which had huge column-mounted paddles that were just behind the rim of the wheel. They fell in such a natural position, so I can't stand having to reach with my fingers in the Audi.

I've found the magnetic replacement option from the usual vendors, but nothing appears to bring the paddle more outboard.
