I stopped driving the vehicle a few months back because I don’t feel this vehicle is safe. I’m a freeway driver. I had brought in my vehicle to get it inspected back in January. The dealer told me there is nothing they can do. To make a long story after weeks of me calling the service dept, the manger told me that Audi is finally aware of the issue, but there is no fix till possibly this August. Are you kidding me, I said. I called Audi and told them I want the vehicle bought back. This vehicle is not safe. I waited over 40 days for a response. Audi said we are not taking the vehicle back and you will have to wait. What is this about. My issue was I wanted to keep bringing the vehicle back to the service dept and they said there is no point. We can’t fix it. I’m still gonna fight this. Audi has so many unhappy customers wanting their vehicles bought back. It’s not just my model, but most of the newer 2025 models. Audi doesn’t care about their customers. I Will NEVER buy an Audi again. I’m done. I haven't really been following the A6 forum, so interested in opinions.

I loved my '03 A6, and '09 5 series. Went to the etron in '21 because I wanted an ev and well, that was my only option. It is now 5 years old, and I am aware that it is effectively a prototype vehicle. I've had the front motor replaced once (among other problems). II dont' really want to deal with issues as it ages. The early sw issues drove me to swear I would never buy another audi, and memory fades. Now I just love it.

Anyway, I see a few leftover A6 etrons on fire sale as the 2027s are starting to show up. The idea of getting a car for $20k off seems almost too good to pass up (especially in a high car tax area). But...

1) I saw the reports on the Steering wheel touch buttons - everyone seems to hate it. Same for the touchpad on the drivers door.
2) visibility sounds bad - I'm a sedan guy at heart, but I've been driving a big ol etron for 5 years.
3) I /love/ my AC seats and massage in my etron (I thought that was ridiculous when I bought it - but I kid you not, I use the massage every trip to and from work). It doesn't look like the A6 has those at all though?
4) Lots of rear wheel drive versions available. I live in virginia, we do get occasional snow, and I travel north on occasion. Any feel for how it does in the snow?
5) The charging curve on the 2021 etron is fantastic. I always charge to 100% at L3 chargers on road trips. And I get 75kw all the way into the high 90s. I think the extra hundred mile range and 800V charging will mean I don't really care, but...?

The review I watched said the drivability was great - I'm excited to take a test drive.
