Default A couple of thoughts...

First off... Thank you for changing the A4 link to point to the B6 forum.

Now, a couple of things I think would make AW more userfriendly...

1) When I am in somebody's pic poster, it would be nice to have a "next" and "previous" button so that I could scroll through their pictures in full size without having to constantly hit my "back" button.

2) Speaking of pic poster, with storage on servers getting cheaper, can't we increase the maximum size of the pics people put in their poster? Another alternative would be to limit the poster to 25 pics (instead of 50) but allow them to be 2x the size. Nobody really needs 50 pics in their anyway. I'd rather have quality over quantity. Plus, with today's digital cameras, pics are just bigger than they used to be.

3) I think next to everybody's AID, it should list where they live (e.g. city, state). This is done on many other forums and I find it adds context to people's posts.

Thanks for listening...

personally...I like having 50 pics and would go for a state location, but not city.

I need 50 pics. Some are used repeatedly, and I need empty slots for DIY jobs and the like...

good point, but I think resolution size limits could be increased.

I think 800x600 would be ideal

Default if anything id like more slots for photos not high res.

high res pictures can totally kill bandwith. i suspect with enough people posting larger picture we might even see the site slow a little. there are also lots of free places you can host high res images. i do like that idea of state and city next to user id. another cool thing to do with that is have the location work as a link to that regional forum. so for example if it said I lived in the california bay area it would also link to the norcal forum. talk about taking a bit of effort to program tho.

1. Get a mouse with a 'back' button or get a browser that supports mouse gestures. Stop using the stupid buttons on IE or whatever browser you use.

2. The cost isn't storage. The cost is bandwidth. High-quality big pictures are usually big files. Big files = high bandwidth usage = $$$.

3. Nice idea.
